That was clearly a reply to the other member. We won't need your bulbs back.

If you were in St. Louis, we'd be happy to fix it for you, but unfortunately, we can't. You will need to remove the bulbs. Again, please attempt heating them to remove, either by using a hair dryer, or putting the light in an oven for about 12-15 minutes at 230F or lower.

Have you even attempted to use a blow dryer and heat them? You're acting fairly bratty. Obviously you need to heat the housing first before removing, and you're just ripping them out. They already fix the bulb it self for you, and apologized. It's kind of ridiculous to just expect them to buy a whole new housing just because you don't know how to use a heat gun and remove them yourself.

Never expected them to buy me a new housing but am new and inexperienced with a heat gun. Am I supposed to fest it from the back or what.

My switchbacks fit great, however, my rear turn (now reverse lights) don't stay seated unless I tape them in. I like the tails as turns mod but am worried the reverse lights are going to fall into the housing and it will be hell getting them out.

I actually dropped a bulb inside the turn signal once haha . I ended up just taking off the whole tail light and tilting/rolling the light around until I could grab it through the hole... the trick was to not let the bulb fall into the Red Brake Light section of the tail light (there's an opening between the turn signal section and brake light section of the housing)

Well, I didn't mean to come off as a douche, I'm sorry. I would recommend removing the housing, and throwing it in the oven. I might be wrong, but you can use a similar temperature setting as if you're trying to open up the casing of a headlight. That would be your best bet, but others can correct me if I am wrong in this.

It's fine, i found someone that does custom lighting so i'm just going to have some custom work done on my headlights soon. Get it blacked out to fix the chrome chip with some amber drls At the end of the day theres no such thing as a perfect business, you win some you lose some. I'm not going to hold a vendetta against @Diode Dynamics.

Damn right it's fine. There's no such thing as a perfect customer either, and you sure as hell wasn't one. You need to act like an adult and chill out, these guys did the best they could and then some to provide excellent customer support.

Dude. I love Diode Dynamics, and I've never had issues with any of their products, but I think your comment here is way off base.

If this issue had happened to ne, I'd have been damned pissed if I had to remove my headlights and bake them and take them apart in order to resolve the issue, thereby voiding the warranty on the headlight assemblies, and risking damaging them in the process. It sucks for any company when a part you sell fails, but it WAS a failure due to a DEFECT of the part. This is not the customer's fault. When he bought the part, all he needed to do was swap a bulb. Now suddenly he is expected to remove the headlight housings and deconstruct them in order to resolve a problem - something he might not even be comfortable doing.

Don't be a **** and tell him to calm down and act like an adult. Everyone here loves Diode Dynamics, but there is no need to belittle someone (unnecessarily) because they had an issue.
