Difference Between $3 DRLS and $40 DRLS?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/221150713219...S:1123&vxp=mtr

Ended up buying two of these because they look exactly like other DRL's that costs 10-15X more.

Can anyone tell me what makes other more expensive DRL's better than these? Looking to see why these would be this cheap versus the more expensive ones.

I just bought a pair too. My only concern is that they might not be the same exact shade of "white" from one bulb to another. I got them anyway, I mean why wouldn't you try it for <8$.

Yikes!
Im sorry to say the ones you bought on ebay wont fit in the slot for your DRL.

Edit: Sorry i didn't read it properly. I ordered the 120 LED DRL and they didn't fit. Please let me know if these do!

Well, I did a search on ebay based on a pair I saw in the groupbuy section so the plug should match up. Will definitely let you know. I know HID's is a total different story, but DRL's all look the same really... people just charging different prices.

From my past experience, ebay ones are WAY less bright, and also they didn't work properly. But hey I only paid like 5$ so it was worth a try.

Here's a side by side view of the two lights. Ebay on left, HID_Powerhouse on right. I've not seen the Ebay type in person, but the HID_Powerhouse ones I got from @KI_ZN6 are VERY bright.

The seller is in China. They don't have to pay taxes etc. like a seller in the US. Not a fair comparison really.

This is more what I was afraid of. The lights look very similar, but if they're very weak, I'll end up going with those. If I lose $8 to a cheap pair of DRL bulbs, it's not the end of the world.

HID_Powerhouse has some real nice packages. I'm getting the Starlight ones for my interior/plate and probably going with a 6000k HID pair.

How useful are these for actual use? Can they actually function as high beams and light up the road or more just for show as DRLs?
