It's not fused by itself but the bus to which it receives its power is fused by the 15 Amp EFI(CTRL) fuse.

If the red wire is cut and was shorted to ground, yes, that fuse will have blown.

Fuse was indeed blown, Also, Fixed. Swapped fuse, wrapped wires in electrical tape, will update when new belt purchased.

Garage
I ended up using a piece of smaller diameter coolant hose to create a sheath for the MAF sensor cable harness to protect it from shredding belts on mine. Cut it down the center lengthwise and use a large zip tie at either end to anchor it to something fixed.

Update...

Car flickers lights when attempting to start, doesn't start, but cranks. Lights solid in on position.

With all the messing arround your battery might be low, maybe put the charger on it for a couple of hours and see what happens.

If you have a voltmeter get someone to keep an eye on battery volts when you crank it should be able to maintain arroind 12v if its dipping to 10 or something then its low or stuffed.

Also rescan for error codes, car wont usually start if maf sensor damaged or not connected same with map sensor.
