The oil pressure switch is not the issue, I've been running my car for 6 months with the plug disconnected. No codes, no lights, nothing out of the ordinary. Something else is going on here.

Agreed, however if the wire were disconnected we still couldn't rule out an oil starvation issue. I'm still wondering about the ABS code.

The fuel in the crankcase is interesting. The very first fuel-injected engine I revived was my dad's 75 beetle. One of the injectors shorted internally which threw them all hard over and flooded the cylinders to the point of hydro-lock.

Turn on the ignition but don't crank. Work the gas pedal. Does the TB respond? You'll hear it.

Drain oil into a clean pan and swish a magnet around in it. Anything that shouldn't be there?

Disconnect the blower and turn it back and forth by hand. Does it feel ok? Anything other than buttery smooth is a problem.

I'm at a loss. Might be time to troubleshoot per the service manual, Techstream and all.
@Decay107? Anyone else care to chime in?

Blower Feels good. Definatley not the problem. I can't hear the Throttle body opening and closing, I'll check that out in further detail before draining the oil.

Very good. You have a hard failure to chase. I agree, leave the oil alone for now.

If it is contaminated with fuel, get it out of there before running the engine because it thins the oil and, if E85, is a little corrosive.

Was poking around the MAF sensor and found the wires have been rubbed into by the belt, some wires missing. I think I've found the problem. FML.

Shit. Did the clip come out the last time the belt failed? It's actually good news. Those wires can be spliced and re-taped fairly easily. You're in a much better predicament than if it were a spun bearing. :P

also it looks like the throttle body side wiring harness was somewhat loose. Going to try reconnecting that, and getting a new belt and some electrical tape. I'll update as soon as I know.
