Do you know anything about OFT? Is there stage 1 tuning good enough for an aftermarket exhaust +intake?

OFT TUNES - all for Stock intake.

you can use AFTERMARKET intakes with OFT but you would need to adjust the maf scaling in the tune yourself or pay Shiv at openflash for a custom tune $200

Stage 1- For vehicles equipped with original header. Other exhaust modifications also compatible. Stock airbox (with or without aftermarket drop-in panel filter) also recommend. Premium grade fuel or fuel as specified by tune.

Stage 2- For vehicles equipped with aftermarket cat-less headers. Other exhaust modifications also compatible. Stock airbox (with or without aftermarket drop-in panel filter) also recommend. Premium grade fuel or fuel as specified by tune

91 (USA) octane or better required for 91 octane tunes
93 (USA) octane or better required for 93 octane tunes

Its ok to use a higher octane than specified by the tune but not a good idea to use a lower octane fuel than specified by the tune.

E85 required for tunes labeled E85 (ie fuel with 60 to 90% ethanol content)

Exception for Stock cars running E85 use Stage 2 E85 EL header tune http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67310

see OFT TIPS link below as well

Had the same issues after my install. The car is breathing more but the factory tune will not give it what it needs to breathe at full potential. The car could really use a stg2 tune With those mods to take full advantage of your parts you invested in. Don't be surprised if you pick up 40hp at the wheels with a STG2 E85 Tune from Delicious Tuning. I posted several vids on this site of just how quick it can become N/A. It truly is a night and day difference.

Edit a stg2 really needs a header if you don't have one. Talk to your tuner about your options and how to make it possible to grow with further mods.

So after about a week, the car feels normal again. It doesn't jerk forward as much anymore when i shift. This might just be because I changed my driving habit to be a little more conservative and have not down shifted to over take people as often.

The Greddy GT EVO catback exhaust sounds like it settled in as well, not as loud as before.

Thinking about switching back to the stock intake and getting a drop in filter and maybe one of those OpenFlash Tablet for now.

What do you guys think?

You will get about the same gains (minimal at best) with a drop in. You will also get a nice sound but maybe just not quite as strong.
I have no comment on the OFT as I have no clue about that aspect of tuning.
