The one thing every one of these threads bringing up reliability misses on. More power = less reliable. More heat = less reliable. More abused = less reliable. It's going to be case to case basis. There are people with 450+ still on a stock block and people with 300hp that have windowed there block.

Gdi fuel systems as a whole typically are good for about 350Bhp with a single pump
you can run a bit leaner and push this up to 370 with hotter exhausts etc but the limiting factor is the pump pressure usually now there are 500Bar Gdi pumps available through bosch msport but often the fuel pump cam profile will need changing to get these to work so not just a bolt on |

I don't have anything on me (I'm at the track), but I went from a 198whp (268 crank) baseline to 292whp (395 hp crank, extrapolated). Torque went from 221lb/ft at the wheels to 309lb/ft at the wheels.
Subaru claims 258 torque from the factory, which is really, really underrated. I'm nearing the limits of the stock fuel pump, but not injectors. |
