What tune do you run when you're doing this 87? The stock tune has a hard time with 91 as it is and you think it's alright to subjecting to knock at 87 for a constant time Did you run E85 without the OFT tune? IT CAN ONLY RUN WELL WITH A TUNE, unlike running 87 once in a blue moon, E85 on a stock tune will actually destroy a good motor, it's equivalent to running fuel over 105 octane Regardless, the car probably ran like shit in the first case where you keep running 87 because you don't believe anyone, and you're engine may just fall apart eventually or you'll get a P0326 or P0331 code and go crying to a dealer where they may just have the urge to void your warranty

The car will pull timing with bad gas. No one's denying this. Can you run 87 gas? Yes, absolutely. The car will pull timing, and IAM will drop. That said, with IAMs as low as 0.2 with 91 octane, why would you bother with anything lower than 91 octane? Where do you live that you can't at least get 91 octane? Why would you intentionally run your car at IAMs that low?
But like I said, you do you, playboy. |

![]() Dude is using generalities and other fallacies as arguments like they are gospel, ignoring facts posted by other discounting the argument. OP, use 91 or higher. If you are in bumfuck nowhere plan to stop more often or bring gas cans to protect the life of the engine. IB4L |

It's not worth it, make the assumption he's a troll and has no clue what he's talking about or doesn't understand how the tunes work. Look at his past posts for perspective: ![]()

Wow. Does this forum give out Darwin Awrds? Cuz this dude is gonna murder his engine. Hopefully he runs the motor while the oil is draining so it all comes out to swap every last drop since he's abusing his car that way...

The manual is for the car when it's stock. Your car is tuned for E85. The actual fuck? To give an analogy of your logic, it would be as if someone asked what size tires he should buy on his stock FRS, everyone says 215/45/17, and you say get 245/45/18, it'll be fine, ignore the manual! Then your justification is a picture of your car with 18 inch rims. |

If serious then you need to stop doing dumb shit like above and listen to the people here. If joking you need to make sure we understand that it is a joke and stop before taking it too far. If trolling to just get your jollies from the responses I know a couple of mods that will ban your ass in a second.
