On modern transmissions, I would say that double clutching will not significantly reduce wear and tear on the synchronizers, not in your average car’s lifetime.

Yes, if your vehicle was old and/or had 18 wheels, yes, double clutching would be beneficial.

Simplify your life …. just shift the damn car.......

Double-clutching a car with a modern synchronized gearbox is a silly anachronism practiced by people who like to pretend they are NOT driving a car with a modern synchronized gearbox.

Yeah things like that is why I can start from neutral and put it into first without a clutch, you know improvise because no clutch

I'm glad you put one comma in there; it really makes it more readable.

technically (although my sentence structure was crap) the comma is at the correct position for such a sentence. Not going bother with capital letters and period for single sentences most times.

I can't be bothered to start. I gave up on teaching English years ago. If the children are our future, the future is fucked.

I (still) legitimately have no idea what you were trying to convey in your prior sentence.

Basically was saying that because of a similar situation to yourself, I now know how to 1. shift without the use of clutches (knew before) 2. How to start from neutral and get into gear from a stop when your clutch is completely gone (basically just put gear in 1st gear gate and push, the car will inch forward and will eventually go into first. Cannot be going uphill for obvious reasons)

That's what my broken sentence wanted to say but without having me type this whole fucking paragraph... Fission Mailed!

Still haven't answered my question either though: Hast thou grammatical Nazism been quenched or shan't it not be quelled until the morrow?

I just started preaching about it here after reading all the complaints about the gearbox. Never been on a car forum before this one.

Actually for those of us that race, double pumping is a good idea.
Hard cornering causes pad knockback as the spindles & rotors flex and you need to take up that slack before hard braking.
AND in racing once you begin to boil the BF you will need to double pump to recompress the bubbles.

Or you will find yourself cleaning your shorts occasionally.
