I can't speak for Subaru, and couldn't find it in the owner's manual for my Scion, either. I did find it in my warranty, maintenance, and roadside assistance guide. For a Canadian spec FR-S, the interval is 2 years or 32.000kms (20K miles) for diff and manual trans. The automatic trans is 96,000kms (60K miles), but only if you frequently use a car top carrier, lol!

Those intervals are only for inspection. There is none specified for replacement.

You had me 2nd guessing myself for a minute, but I definitely see the word change there...
Granted, that's "special operating conditions", but as a rule of thumb, Canadian models follow the severe service intervals per most manufacturers.

Well, hey, looky there! I double-checked. There is no mention of replacement in the US books. I wonder if they got around to changing it for 14 or 15 MY.

Personally, I agree with the Canadian philosophy.

Here's mine from yesterday.

Did you send yours out for UOA? I saved what I didn't spill just in case.

Not yet, I'll get around to it one of these days... Still can't believe your diff fluid came out clean.

Because grandpa.

It's darker in the jar. Pour a little of yours out on a white plate. I bet it will look the same.
