just go with lowering springs. It's a cheaper solution compared to coilovers. It'll lower the car from 1" to 1.5" which will close the gap between the fender and wheel. A popular one is the Eibach pro springs kit. Bear in mind you have a front lip and sideskirts so you'll lose even more ground clearance if you lower the car by an inch or two

Like what others said, lowering springs would be good for you. I have H&R lowering springs and they dropped my car 1" in the front, 1.2" in the back. I love the look but I think I may want to get coilovers to drop it another .5" or so, just for my preferences. It's low but not low enough for me haha.
If you do normal street driving, just be aware that you WILL scrape on some things, and when you park, make sure to stop before the curb or you'll hit it. Same goes for big speed bumps and driveways. You will have to learn to take such things at an angle instead of straight on, and slow down to get over it as well. |

Just save for coilovers so it is adjustable and you will be able to run aftermarket wheels.. Ive heard from many owners with springs that after install it almost looks like stock height. Want it to be done right? Be patient and save.

On wednesday nights we have anywhere from 5-30 of us here local to AZ -- you could ask several of them how they lowered and choices they made and why. We have everyone ranging from the "Casual driver" to the "Spirited" driver and even the "I race weekends" drivers. check our sub forum for details

Adjustable doesn't mean better, and too many adjustments make it very easy to make it handle/drive worse if you don't know what you're doing. This is an honest 1" drop on Swift sport springs, verified by measuring fender to hubs (not digging up those pictures, you'll have to trust me). ![]() ![]()
