Yes

Yes. Also may need to change the headlights.

Thanks Phantom, are there any significant exterior differences between the 2 other than the front bumper?

Spoiler and badging, but that becomes more of a personal preference. The bumper (and anything that attaches to it) is the biggest difference in terms of exterior.

Thanks, I will try to secure a monogram series if I can, and if that's not possible I will be looking at the brz.

This has happened about 5 times with my wife's car!
At least 3 of the times I remembered she had the fob in her purse before I shut it down.
The other 2 times well... lets just say I hadn't rode a bus in decades!

You get better headlights, and a better interior. And hey you have the Subaru Blue color option over that orange FRS color that Toyota offers.

And you probably won't find a monogram. So you'll be stuck with a basic FRS with no push to start no heated seats, no HIDs. And other stuff I don't feel like naming.

Just get the BRZ they cost the same as an FRS at least in my area anyways so why not go for it. If you don't like Subaru then just rebadge it or something.
The BRZ would be a fine choice if you could get Hot Lava. Such boring colors for a cool car.

So far the monogram series satisfies all my preferences, the bumper, and the interior. I will look at the BRZ if I can't find one new near MA.

What color are you looking for for the Monogram Series? Manual or Auto? I know there's at least two or three in your state. More in the surrounding states.

PS: Please leave the one in New York for me to go and grab come spring-summer. I think it's the only one left in the color I want and in manual.

I guess we are looking at the same car lol.
Looking for whiteout, manual.

But I won't be getting my new frs until this late summer, so no worries. And like I said, if I can't find one, I will turn my eyes to a BRZ. Or maybe by the time when I will be purchasing, Scion will release something new

That's actually it. haha

There may be another one in VA, but they don't have it listed in their website at all. The only reason I know about it is because I had my manager do a blanket search in the entire US. In the end, it's first come, first served. It's not like I can lay claim to it anyways.

Besides, just like you, I'm curious what the next series will be. If it's got similar (or better) features that the Monogram Series won me over, I may go for that, myself.

My alternative is just finding a Monogram Series as cheaply as possible and having it painted Super White since I like that kind of white more so than the pearl-ish/metallic white Whiteout and Halo are. The whiteout Monogram Series would have just saved me some money painting over it without having to paint the engine bay, etc.

By the way, the model number for the manual Monogram Series is 6255.

Ah ha, its nice to meet someone who has the same taste on the Internet

How do I use the model number to help my search? I am a little confused by how to using it.

6255 is the model number that your local dealership uses to search for the particular vehicle you are looking for. 6255 is code on their system for "2014 Scion FR-S Monogram Series - Manual".
