If thats the case I feel much better about 179.7
I was really hoping to crack the 180... but the guys there said it would have been a little higher if it wasnt so hot out..

So I finally started looking at the tables. Can someone who understands tuning explain what has to be done to increase the rev limit? There is obviously a rev limit setting, and you need to add additional lines to other tables. Which tables need to be extended? I found that the ignition tables get altered so the highest rpm is listed as the target, but why is the timing changed to be a negative value? As rpm increase, shouldn't the timing continue to advance, or at least stay stable?

@steve99 @Shiv@Openflash reducing the rev limit back to 7500 wouldn't require making any other changes correct? and disabling LC and FFS simply requires setting all associated tables to 0 right?

for the LC & FFS yes just set the delta=0 for both The rev limit will require some changes to a couple of tables to get it to work correctly Base timing B will need the RPM axis changing from 7600 to 7500 and next one from 7450 to 7350 Then the Rev Limit Fuel Cut values from 7600 to 7500 and 7550 to 7450 ie take 100rpm off those 4 values. should do it. |

So it looks like Base Timing A is set at 7400..should I lower it to 7350 or 7300? Lowered Base Timing B to 7500. |

I also use the soft rev limit. I did notice a couple times if I'm up around 7600, it seems to take about twice as long to shift as normal. Our power band peaks before that in NA so not really a big deal, but with FI it might present an issue.
