If he won't pay up, make it as painful as possible for him. Take photos of the carnage, screenshots of the map/log, send it off to jalopnik and the like. Spread the word at local events (Cars and Coffee, etc.)

If he's smart, he'll realize how much the negative publicity is going to cost him.

After talking w/ Andres at KAB, i'm getting my car towed to his shop today & getting the log. I'll keep this updated w/ the diagnosis. I need my car running! fk man! my cars been more dead than going lately.

Not necessarily true. I had a shop provide free labor to repair my old car (Eclipse). They hadn't done anything to the car but service it. It was just out of warranty. The timing belt broke while I was driving and trashed the head. All I was out was parts. I know it's not exactly apples to apples, but is still relevant. You can't jump to conclusions without all the information.

Sorry to hear about your troubles.

Dont mean to hijack the thread, but in a short while I am going to list my brand new, in the crate complete engine - if anyone is interested.
