Thanks for the quick response! You probably know more than I do

Pretty sure it's mostly if not all e85. I've been filling up with e85 ever since I switched over. Probably 2 tanks worth.

Although this makes me wonder my e content. This is the closest station by me that has e85

@shiv@vishnu, is the E85 EL OTS tune good down to E60 because there's a limit to how much timing you can advance or is it a safety margin. In other words - if we're confident our ethanol is in the higher range is there room to produce more power in your opinion? thanks!

These aren't very precise because they're lacking fine markings between e20 and e85, but you could always get it to test. Although I don't know how much it'll help since the blend will likely change every time you visit the station. And what will you do if the blend is low in ethanol? Get gas instead? I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just check your logs every time you fill up to make sure something weird isn't happening.

Hey guys, I've been on the e85 tune for roughly 3 tanks now but something strange happened this morning, when I started up the car this morning the check engine light came on.. I'm not sure if it was the best idea but I just cleared it with the OFT. Does the e85 tune throw check engine light for anyone else?

My AFR is too high. Should I rereflash now that I'm running a higher ethanol content? I think my first tank was about e60. With that tank, my afr was in the low 12s. Now that my tank has a higher ethanol mixture the AFR is in the mid 13s.

I haven't taken it past 6000 rpm because I was worried how lean it is

I have the stock airbox with a drop in filter, nameless catted front pipe, and nameless axle back
Why not just the full tank right off the bat?

Take it easy for 50 miles or so. The computer should correct.

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to explain.

The first time I filled with e85 I was right before the gas light turns on (2-3 gallons left). I was hoping the light would turn on by the time I would get to the station but it didn't.

The next time I filled was when that first tank got to half empty. Both times I filled till the tank was full.

I don't do much driving, so I didn't want to wait till my tank was empty (although in hindsight I should have). I'm very impatient

Did you check the code? Always check the code before clearing it!

I'm sure there is room to produce more power on the tune. But is that possible without a dyno?

Are you sure about that? I have the same op fp from nameless and i still hear that valve flutter. Sound comes from the engine not the exhaust

Yes sir, it tamed it down, it didn't eliminate it. Reducing the noise was our target.
I'm sorry if this not helpful

Anyone wanna take a look at my log and see how it looks? Nothing looks to out of place to me except maybe knock correction? This is after about 50 miles on the e85 tune so its probably still learning a bit.

You're still running rich with several % of negative fuel trim. That tells me that you still had quite a bit of gasoline in your tank when you added e85?
