I would take it back immediately and insist that they use the proper(blue) coolant. I would think this may cause you trouble down the line if you need warranty work, you take it in and they tell you that you replaced it with the wrong stuff, warranty voided on their fail!

so let me get this straight.. the proper coolant is BLUE not green?

mine was green from day 1 -.-

Subaru offers green and blue colored coolant. It is a phosphate type ethylene glycol mix. The green coolant is non-premixed with water, while the blue is premixed 50/50. They are compatible with each other.

I presume Scion uses coolant from the same manufacturer on the FR-S, so it would be the same color. I know Toyota normally uses their own red colored coolant.

Yep, the Scion is 100% Subaru and Toyota dealerships now stock Subaru parts/fluids to service them. Toyota boxes with "SU" part #s. Aaaaaand in California some dealerships stock Tesla coolant, too! (for the Rav4 EV)

they use subaru blue coolant for frs and brz....toyota uses red for all their cars
