You want proper bias for that one time you emergency brake on the street. Likewise, you want proper bias at the track so you don't overheat the brakes that have a faster response rate.

OP is asking for a track application... HVAC intake temp is probably less of a concern there!
That said, in normal driving conditions, there should be minimal to no impact on AC performance.
