Question Automatics with Carbon Driveshaft.....would you do it again??

Looking for feedback on the DSS Carbon shaft for automatics and direct user feedback. It's next on my to do list and I would like to here any critique from actual owners.

Any negatives??

I'd get the carbon if I was in US. We have to pay tax if we import something over $1,000 including shipping, so it works out about twice the price as you can pay. Aluminium is a bit loud on downshifts particularly 5th to 4th and carbon would soak up that shock and noise better.

I don't believe there's any downsides to carbon unlike aluminium, except perhaps value, but that applies to both.

I have been running a DSS Carbon Drive shaft on my auto for over a year now. It is a good way to reduce mass, weight and the weight is more evenly distributed. When i took the stock shaft off, I was disappointed at all the give and weight it had. I was able to notice a slightly less delay in pedal to go after installation.

I have been fortunate enough to not have any negatives nor any installation woes (was my first drive shaft install too). I do not experience vibration or noise (3 in full exhaust, probably wouldn't notice it anyway). It has been a rock solid piece taking the cold, salt and any road abuse like a champ. I have had the car up to 123 ish mph and has been smooth as butter.

Just my two cents to your next $1000 purchase. DSS has my business for the future.
