Pic Request: 17x9 on stock suspension

I don't plan on doing suspension mods anytime soon but i'm definitely looking for a 17x9 245/40/17 wheel/tire setup.

i'd like to get a taste of how a 17x9 setup will look on the stock suspension.

...an aside: reason for the stock suspension is because it is very good. i would like to test the factory suspension through some circuit racing before making my decision to go for an upgraded suspension.

Here's a link to a 17x9 setup... with a stretch the tire will sit flush with fender, according to the OP. I am thinking of going the same route...

I should point out that I am on RCE yellows with Whiteline camber bolts. The 35 offset is a must if you want to run 245/40R17s. I have about a pinky finger of clearance between the rim/tire on the inside and the spring perch on the factory struts. No rubbing on fenderwell or fender with my setup.

You should be able to find links to 17x9 setups all over the sticked wheel thread.

OEM suspension. I have not detected any rubbing. These are 17X9 et +35. Tires are BFGoodrich G-Force Rival 255/40/17.
I have camber bolts in the front and have had as much negative camber dialed in as possible.

@Lee358

Wow! That's cutting it close. Is there any rub on full lock?

Thanks for posting.
