Will changing wheel width and offset affect alignment? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I've changed rims with the same dimensions just a lower offset and the passenger side seems to poke out quite a bit more, I thought only suspension mods affected alignment unless I'm wrong somewhere.

Lower offset = more poke, your alignment (caster, toe, camber) will stay the same.

but only one side is poking out more that's the problem, does that mean my alignment was fucked up to begin with? lol

Got a pic? Perhaps the offset or wheel width is different? Also check to make sure there aren't any wheel spacers on that side.

Offsets the same, wheel width is staggered 9.5 and 10s in the rear both same offset. I don't run spacers. Probably an alignment issue..

Yeah that's odd, I guess the top of the wheel would poke out more if that side had extreme positive camber or vice versa if the bottom of the wheel is poking out more.

just throwing this out there.

maybe your staggered setup got switched? Is it possible you have a front and a rear on the same axle?

I checked already, this wasn't the case.
