Will different offset affect the car?

Hey guys
I would like to know if running the exact same size rim and tire for both front and back but different offset would affect the car? If so what way?

For example. 17x9 et 35 front and 17x9 et 20 rear. tires are 235/40/17

I know that the car would look a little more flush in my opinion as the rear always seams to tuck in more than the fronts, but what about performance wise? I do track the car so this would be a concern for me if it messes up something.

Thanks in advance for all your help!

I'm auto crossing these wheels for the first time tomorrow. I'm -2.2 in the front as well.

17x9+38 square on a 1.4in drop with Eibach sportlines. From my highway exit ramp shenanigans, it's super snappy. Drives beautifully.

Can't tell you about the affects on the feelz while driving, but how much camber are you planning on that you think you can fit +20 wheel in the back?

9+35 seems like a sensible size/offset that is most commonly picked front and back, you may know this already. At around a degree of camber, it will sit flush, can't imagine how much more to accommodate another extra 15mm...

I am currently running -2 right now and I am certain that they will fit, but its just the set that I am looking at right now is sold with this type of specs that is why I am asking this question. I am not specifically looking for such weird combination. LOL
