ECUtek data logging problems

I have been trying to do in car logging ( track only not street legal) with ECUTEK. Every time, the logging to file stops after a few minutes or sometimes seconds, so I am never able to capture anything with WOT.

The error I get that no signal is received. When I disconnect everything, wait a few minutes, repeat it all over again, I get the same results, it logs for up to a few minutes and then stops.

I have tried different cables, but I have no problem logging an AIM solo. I did have a problem with the AIM solo once, but that was results when I extended the OBD cable. Since then I have never had a problem with the AIM Solo.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to get this fixed ?

The car is a 2013 FR-S

Is ECUtek updated?

The main culprits are USB connection or OBD connection. However it could be the cable itself, which I believe someone had a faulty one.

Are you using an in car laptop charger? Seen that cause odd issues if a loose 12v socket connection.

ECUtek was updated the same day as the logging. Using a tablet so no use of in car power, but am using a USB hub dongle. I guess I will have to try with a regular tablet that has 2 USB ports.
