Will do. It doesn't seem like they had to use much weight to balance it so I'm hopeful

To do what? You have to remove the front pipe to remove the front pipe. You don't have to remove the front pipe to install a new drive shaft. You don't have to remove the spare wheel either.

I installed my driveshaft without any removal of other parts save the old driveshaft and its mount.

When rotating the drive shaft are you pulling it from the trans and rotating while also keeping track of the diff position? Couldn't you just rotate on the diff end or is the trans end more important?

You rotate on diff end, the front stays into the Tranny sleeve.

Mark your original position, shift 90 degrees and so on..
