WTF at that celica. Those rear tires don't even look like the bead is seated?
On Hella-Everyone in my generation (mid 20's) from California, and I mean everyone, associates it with NorCal/the Bay Area. I went to school on the central coast and people who said it were mercilessly teased by the Orange County/LA/San Diego crowd if they used it too much. and "THE 405" is definitely a SoCal thing. My parents gave me crap about that after I did my first internship in southern California. ![]() Nathan |

I'm pretty sure that's not the case, though.

My biggest concern, as I could give a flying f*** what others do to their cars, is that in a few years people will say FR-S/BRZ and other folks in the conversation will immediately think the same thing that I think when at a car show and someone I'm talking to looks over my shoulder and says, "Well, the civics are here...".

I remember a guy on here who lowered his twin, then rear ended a truck 'cause his crashbar was too low to take impact. The car referred to in this thread is even lower, so a sedan might just be a clothesline to the face if he rear ends anyone. Power to him if he's negating all the safety bits to look cool. Might as well remove the crash bar to save weight then.

Bad things happen when your crash bar is below another car's subframe and you hit it. |

What I can't believe, yet somehow it seems to be true, is that the folks in this 'movement' actually think people not within said 'movement' think it looks good or cool.
I find it hard to believe that all these hella-fools don't actually know that EVERYONE looks at them and then stifles a laugh if within earshot or lets loose a monster belly laugh if not.

this BRZ belongs to SLICVIC on the forums.
While I don't like lowered cars I won't criticize him. bottom line, it's HIS car. so who am I to judge?

there is an awful lot of hate coming from a forum that constantly compains about how people "dont get" what the frs is about. with all the form over function criticism im surprised to see so many threads about shitty coilovers and flashy strut tower braces
