Can you get more air volume than Perrin, FA20 or AMR? Intake Air Temperature has to be higher if the airbox/filter is in the engine compartment

I think he meant the path from the air filter to the throttle body is straight, because perrin, FA20, AMR all have huge long tubes with lots of bends.

The throttle response is improved significantly. I am by no means claiming to be an expert and engine/exhaust modifications wise I am only running TRD CAI and TRD exhaust. Was running the exhaust by itself since day 1, so I never had a comparison. After installing the CAI, noticeably better response on the throttle input.

I can see response increasing for sure and that alone is a plus to me considering I have found most aftermarkets give you a bit of a lag

Nice, reminds me of the spoon & J's racing snorkels for the S2k! This should do better than the stock snorkels.

Not the true cold air intakes. Should see the thread where the guy modified his Injen intake into a full CAI and eliminated the bogging down and rough idle with 3 1/2 piping.

Yea but he also had to remove the radiator shroud in the process. That will affect the efficiency of the radiator for sure.
