We'll show the comparison. Since we'll probably be sending back the units before receiving the new ones (unless someone does a core charge), there will most likely not be a right before the new unit dyno. All of ours are SAE corrected so results should be pretty accurate.

We can scratch the alternator tilt bracket from the list.

The silver portion shows the area that is different.

These were sent overnight from Vortech.

so, just for the record, not wanting to pollute or start controversy, but just want to clarify:

10psi on the 'old' stage1 impeller/compressor at 10psi is NOT The same as 10psi on the new stage2 compressor/impeller

the older design was built to offer overboost protection, and runs outta breath at 9psi+

the 10psi kit I'm on with Perrins tune will be dyno'd by me Tuesday coming, and the curves look very different, as do the boost plots, so everything before 7500 rpms and before 9/10 psi looks way different on those charts too

I do not think John Visconti has thge same kit as me or Jeff, tho I am sure that will change in time
There is a huge difference between 7psi and 10psi on my vortech kit-while I cant comment on absolute peak power without dynos, every psi DOES matter

Quick Q, will this header make the boxer burble more pronounced? I mean cuz it seems to be WAY UEL... I kinda miss it on the BRZ.

Just listened to it in the office, it's exactly what I want... Lemme guess no cat though... Think I could pass emissions with it?

Was stuck on the floor most of the day, got called in because the robots were trying to throw cases at the operators... Apparently they hate the operators as much as I do.

Sorry man, no cats for the Bolra's from what I remember. I don't know about passing the emissions part. Maybe if you kept the cat in the front pipe???
