How many PSI? and holy timing pulling batman!!! That is not a happy ECU. That is even with smoothing set to 3.

10psi. The data has been sent to Perrin as requested, but this is the first map which was sent to us.
Not much timing was pulled according to the data I captured. Here is smoothing @ 0 from a previous dyno I posted. The lower numbers are w/ header back exhaust and no tune vs stock pulley. 7psi below

10psi and not 250whp... is something wrong? I want to see you guys dial this in, because I'm really considering this kit. But I'll be honest, I'm a bit sad that it isn't performing better on the output side of things.
I'm sure the car is killer on the autoX course too. But I'm really wanting to see someone break 300whp. The only other way I see a car being legal is using a rear mount turbo. This is important to me to keep the car street legal. I'm really glad you guys are taking the time to play with the setup and post your results. I'm looking forward to seeing your future endeavors. |

The last dyno posted was at 7 psi peak. The one we were talking about earlier is 10psi.
This image is from Perrin's blog. They have updated it recently.

I bet it is. Seems about right. Even Gems car took something "super secret" and 8.5 PSI to get 240whp.
Definitely needs some tuning up top, though. Quote:

This is a realistic result, power-wise. Good job Phastek! |

So its +70 hp over stock at 10psi without adjustments. That sounds pretty good.

The other guys in the shop are primarily focused on the bread and butter.... domestic vehicles... So the ecommerce guy (me) pushes the 86 stuff. EDIT: Between 7200-7600 RPMs -0.7°CA Knock correction. I did notice at the high end where the peak boost is that the graphs were getting rough and it was pulling timing. Right now I don't have the data on me (edited above), and soon I'll be hunting down the super secret stuff to keep this thread alive. Since I have 3 vehicles in the area that can be tweaked, we get to show a lot of results. Victor will be getting his Borla UEL header this weekend as well. The Perrin kit comes with a 2.5 BAR map sensor btw. |

For everyone else, Phastek is ~115ft above sea level. So these results are, for all intents and purposes, at sea level. Last edited by 2forme; 03-20-2013 at 09:17 AM. |

Had to get this done so I could data log and get results back to Perrin. Thanks Jeff for working with me on the smaller pulley. As always more to come.

Good looking numbers and thanks for the constant updates. You guys may have just made my choice of what kit to go with. I may just pull the trigger on the vortech kit here in the next couple of weeks.
