![]() Came home after BEATING my car, and was thinking, it's the intake side; it's probably nowhere near as hot as I think it is. Sure enough, opened the hood, and wrapped my hand around the intake pipe. Warm at best. Not too worried about melting, now I just need the stupid rain to let up so I can actually DO the swap >.< |

Pulled the noise generator during lunch. I didn't have a lot of time, so I couldn't really get it to temp and romp on it, but it's EASILY quieter than before. Like a LOT quieter.
I can hear the exhaust now, albeit it's still quiet, but I can hear it. I didn't realize just how much noise that tube was making. It's still wet and nasty here, but I'm thinking I'm going to tape off the diaphragm for now (I removed the one tube altogether), and if I decide to switch back, at least I don't need to re-run all of the hoses, just pull the tape and throw the hose back on. Hoping to get the resonator plug in tonight. |

My being one that doesn't have a lathe nor know any one that does, I will start checking ebay on a regular basis. I don't think it will be too long before someone will have a kit available for doing this and I'll surely grab it up.

![]() Pulled the resonator that night and plugged it as well ![]() Really liking the sound the car makes now, and I'd swear the throttle response is a bit more "unfiltered" It feels even sharper and more immediate now

Where does that go? Directly into/onto the firewall?
