What this tells me, is "Buy from Perrin". If they are willing to overnight the clamp to you to correct an honest mistake, that means they have my best interests at heart and They'll take care of me.

Sucks they missed the clamp, but mistakes happen, and they are stand-up guys for getting it out asap. Best of luck with your new exhaust.

Exactly!

I appreciate service like this. They addressed the problem immediately and as quickly as possible.

Thanks for the alert. What would help us even more is if you can send an honest review once it is running, maybe sound clip as well and if you notice a difference in power. thanks.

I would ask the mods to change the title of this post. Sounds like Perrin is taking care of you by overnighting the part which will probably cost them $40. It should have been included in the first place but stuff happens and they are doing their best to fix the problem. Most companies would just send it in the mail and save the overnight costs. Does suck though. I hate when I get into a project and get interrupted by a small oversight.

Always check all the parts before you do any install I work in a parts dept and couldn't tell you how many times a repair was held up because of mispackaged parts.

There are a lot of trolls here. Thanks for your post OP. I would hope anyone that has a bad experience with a forum supplier would post it up, including the resolution.

They forgot to pack a part, and you failed to check the materials list, sounds like TWO mistakes made here............

This thread should be moved to the vendor feedback area. It may or may not be relevant to a buyer depending on their preferences but lets keep in mind that they are doing the right thing to correct for their oversight. Sucks it happened but occasionally things pop up like this.

Look on the bright side. Some people of the SRT exhaust didn't receive sections of the actual exhaust. That's more of UPS's fault though.

LOL I think if people can't install a v-band clamp, then they probably shouldn't be working on cars lol. I'd take V-bands over using gaskets any day of the week!
