I already a have OFT and run stage 2 so i got a delicious kit for OFT. Trying to figure out how to install it since their online instruction sucks and is for the ecuteck kit.

Not running E85/FF. it is almost nonexistent in my area. I have pulled up some V4 tunes and compared them to mine based of v2.7, the OTS E85 tune's timing tables are almost as mild as I am running on 91. There are a lot of other benefits to E85 besides octane, but if you have it why not run the timing to take full advantage.

I believe the difference stems from the different calibration codes.. or possibly the file version (2. vs 4.)

Interesting, looks a bit closer to what I was expecting to see. Still seems a bit mild though.

Though a quick google search shows that Australian spec E85 is to be from between 70-85% ethanol. So tighter tolerance then here in the states.

Probably easier to look at a datalog for total timing (or ignition advance) since KCA will get added in.

For example, my car on the standard non-flex OFT 4.03 e85 tune runs about 34 degrees timing near redline.

I was curious if FF cars are pushing more than that. I’d be really surprised if they are because from what I understand that’s pretty much MBT, but a datalog from a FF car would be the easiest way to compare.

I didn't think of that, that is a good point.
