I bought the coilovers used from someone but he had the swifts on the rear when i got them. The fronts are the 8k springs that come with the coils and rear is 18k which. As for why he chose to get the swifts i have no idea.

Call PBM in San Diego, they'll be able to tell you exactly what's wrong and probably fix it on the spot if you can make it down there. They have a great facility and helpful staff.

I have PBM Coils and never had that issue. I recommend buying new short springs from PBM. IIRC they are like $100 for a pair and you can get whatever spring rates you want, up to 20k. I couldnt max out my rears because it was too low if I did, so I bet the spring is the wrong size... also if the previous owner didnt have the struts on those tuned for the stiffer springs the struts could be blown, not saying they are but when i talked to their customer service they were telling me stiffer springs without the dampening spec'd correctly could create issues. also if you max out the rear with what looks to be all stock arms, you are going to have some pretty shitty toe. i found that out the hard way. rlca's, toe arms, and traction arms are highly recommended when lowering your car that much. PBM sells all of that stuff too, and their rlca's will drop your car an ext 40mm i think. good luck!

Many people already told you what the problem is. Why even post here if you are just going to ignore their advice? |

Those spring rates aren't the best choice for your car IMO. My guess is the guy who sold you those coilovers was trying to be a drifter, but didn't do a very good job of building his suspension. That's putting it nicely. - Andrew |
