Front and Rear Camber kit /w Coilovers

Hi,

I am in the process of purchasing some coilovers and aggressive wheels for my car and plan to give it a moderate drop (2"+) since I just want my car to sit flush and not slammed. I am aware that I will need to get camber kits to bring the alignment back to spec. I know that I would need Lower control arms and toe arms for the rear. But what would I need for the front? Will I be fine with just toe bolts in the front or do I need more than that if I plan to drop it on coilovers? And how much do you think it will run me for the kits I need?

2"+ doesn't sound moderate drop to me for our already rather low cars and with already not that big bumpstopless travel. Imho best choice would be to go for drop no higher then 1", this way you'll also need way less parts/work to do to get suspension in reasonable shape and you'll also still keep enough daily driveability for car. Maybe worth reconsidering plans? If you want just lower looks, why not install some arch liners, bumper lip, side pieces, rear bumper diffuser instead without worsening handling or paying a lot to get it back right again after overslamming?

camber bolts will probably only get you around an extra .5 in either direction. you will most likely need camber plates for the front. if you are really wanting to lower your car that much, look for some rear LCA like the Voodoo ones that are for "stanced" cars. they will give you more shock travel (which you want) since our cars already have little shock travel in the rear.

For the front you may not need anything more if your coilovers come with adjustable top plates. If they don't, then get adjustable top plates for them. Crash and camber bolts will also work in absence of that.

For the rear dropping the car 2" should give you about -1.4-1.7ish degrees of natural negative camber. That may be enough negative camber to get your new wheels/tires to fit depending on your wheel offset/width and tire tread width and aspect ratio. If not then yes what you described above will work.
