Pbm coilovers not low in rear?

1 Attachment(s)
So i bought some used pbm coilovers since ive heard good things about pbm and theybare local. When i installed them, the front was exactly how i wanted it. But when i put on the rears, they are higher than my lowering springs. There is a 4 finger wheel gap. Am i doing something wrong or will i need lca’s to get lower. Btw the rears are maxed out.

Maybe you put them on upside down and/or are adjusting them the wrong direction ...... sorry, I just remembered I slept through my med taking time ......:sigh:

Can you unlock all the lock rings and screw the body of the shock into the lower half? Basically, take off the shock. Undo all the lock rings. Make sure the piston shaft is all the way out of the shock. Reset spring tension with the upper two lock rings. Then reset ride height with the lower lock ring by raising/lowering the cylinder into the lower shock body. Then locking the lower ring when ride height is set.

Also, are the front and rear springs on the correct shock? Not front mixed with rears?

Its as far down as it goes because i cant screw the damper any farther because it hits the bottom of the piece that bolts to the lca. And im pretty sure the springs are on the correct ones.

Have you driven on the coils to allow the springs to settle yet?

Yessir

I'd check the spring rates/lengths if the adjustment really is bottomed out as low as it'll go.

I meant actually check the springs you have front/rear to see which rates are on which end and how long the springs are front/rear.

If you have the springs on the wrong end and the front springs are longer then this is explained really simply.

Looks like swift springs, which AFAIK are custom ordered for these.

I'd be willing to bet OP ordered the wrong length of spring
