The ECU retards timing depending on air intake temperature.

John, is the car stock?
Is there any pattern to when you have issues?

My car feels fine. Then again, I don't drive it mad when it's hot out. And right now in Texas it's been in the upper 90s

Cause yeah, definitely some days it feels like the car has more oomph.

Also I noticed when I drive it AFTER I have already driven it once and it sat for about an hour or so, so the fluids are still warm, it really flies.
Cool air is denser, more thrust per squeeze.

Maybe English is not his first language. @John27 , I suggest you make a post in your native language, maybe we can (with help) sort it out.

Well your filter is definitely the problem. K&d makes imaginary filters for magical air only. Unless you are driving around Harry Potter World, using a k&d filter will actually hamper the performance of your car because you're pulling in muggle air.
