Isn't it a lightweight track wheel after all? I also think some get nervous to run that wide a wheel on a stock non-wide body.

In the Porsche circles (Rennlist) they all have it other way round. For example they run BBS E88 lightweights for track, and if you run it on the street for looks, everyone asks why are you risking damaging a pricey lightweight wheel on the road?

Hahaha, I wouldn't daily magnesium wheels either. I think driving on the street is probably more stress on the wheels to be honest.

No real updates other than just waiting for parts to trickle in. The motor should be stripped down soon for new bearing clearance and WPC treatment.

I wanted to keep the twins in the car, however after debating it and after talking to a few companies at sema and seeing these new garrett turbos this year, I am convinced on going single turbo. I gonna use that new GTX3584RS with a custom JDL manifold, probably stick OEM intake, and get my hands on either a Haltech or Motec Standalone. But mostly I want this car to be sleeper status with a quiet exhaust, its ultimate purpose is track/drift. What about yours?

Everything is still up in the air since I haven't started my project yet, since my other street FR-S is getting some parts reworked on it (FA unreliability lol). Oil pressure is the biggest hurtle to over come in those motors from my own personal experience (2 Blown motors, 6 months apart lol). I am gonna have to send it off next year to Element to get that track spec adjustment done to it, so it actually makes 70 PSI (20 PSI on idle) on Wide open throttle and not 50 PSI (4-6 PSI on idle) that I saw after the rebuild. End of FA engine rant haha. Still can't wait to see what you're gonna do with your build, we definitely need to have a photoshoot of the two once we're done.

Ah very similar! I have a Motec to run my setup and I'll be using the GTX3582 Gen I. I also looked into the new turbo but I want to see where my powerband and power sits first with this turbo before I change it out. As for oil, you can also look into accusump or even dry sump if the budget allows. Yeah, I should be finished by summer. I'm still waiting for a lot of parts.
