Unveiled today at the Tokyo Auto Salon, the GRMN 86 Concept applies much of what the team has learned racing at the Nurburgring 24 Hour race and infused that technical expertise into a street-legal package. According to GRMN, the 86 Concept has achieved optimal weight reduction, a lower center of gravity, an enhanced powertrain and improved body rigidity.

Visually the GRMN 86 Concept features a carbon fiber hood, front lip, mirror caps and rear spoiler while subtle red touches hint that this 86 is far from stock.

Gazoo Racing will be making a return to this year’s Nurburgring 24 Hours race, and has an impressive display of various modified GT86s at this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon.

I like those wheels with the 86 center caps. Not feeling the graphics on the hood and roof.

Love the black mirrors. They might even be carbon? Ohhh I love them so much.

and even if this get released to limited production, I can see that it will cost as much as a C7.

I would opt for the Mirai, or new Supra, or used IS-F or.......you know...porsche whatever.
