It always happens at the same RPM. That makes me think it is engine or computer related. Does something happen around 3400? I do have open flash tune and header.

hmmmm..........not that I know of.

You may consider turning back to the OEM tune and see if it still does it .....

(however, be advised, that ol humfrz "lost" his tuning abilities, when they took away the distributor and carburetor(s) .... )

So an update to my situation. Within the past few months my clutch started making a creaking sound whenever I depressed it. Took it to the dealer today and was able to reproduce the "Shh" sound and the mechanic told me they are ordering a new tranny. Almost 23k miles on the ODO. Bone stock. Hooray for warranty.

Update. Tranny replacement didn't do anything and the noise persists. Clutch squeak has gone away though.

After bringing it back to the dealer they tested it against new and other customer base for the last two weeks. They said it was a normal noise for this car and not an issue. Let's hope that's true...

I have this same issue. Started cropping up a few days ago, especially right after start up. Honestly the best way I can describe it is the same way it was stated earlier, like a BOV. Sounds great, except I don't have a turbo so its concerning...

Anyone have any other updates on this?

My brand new 2016 is doing this right off the lot. Is there any definite idea what it is?

You will hear all sorts of noises in this car that you do not in others. It does not mean the others don't make them just that they have more sound proofing so you don't hear it. The fact that the tranny is right beside you instead of way up in front like FWD cars also comes into play since many are not used to that. As long as things are functioning properly don't let every little odd noise scare you or you will lose your mind driving these cars!
