I would make sure you have a good obdii connection and turn everything off. Was trying to flash my ECU a few weeks ago and got an error. Reseated the OFT cable and made sure to turn off all electronic like the dome light, ac recycle (amber LED) and radar detector. I haven't had any issues flashing the ecu since. Just my suggestion...

That sounds like an error between Ecuflash and the Tactrix hardware (its J2534), not an error talking to vehicle ECU

could be many things.

usb cable or port problems
tactrix hardware failed
some other software using port

try re-installing ecuflash and driver software

if ecuflash can see tactrix adapter the read and write icons will be red and blue, if they are grey ecuflash cannot see tactrix adapter hardware

Could be an intermittent connection. You plug it in one day, it flashes fine, you plug it in the next day but you didn't plug it in quite exactly the way you did the first day and you get communication errors.

To get a J2534 "no devices available" error, I would expect the entire software stack from computer all the way to OBDII port to be working fine, but when it tries to talk on the bus, it doesn't receive any discernable reply.

Our OBDII port sucks. I gently bent the pins on my Tactrix towards the center a bit and it's better, but it's still typically a few tries to get a flash to go through. It's not just the Tactrix though, my Bluetooth OBD dongle doesn't make a good connection sometimes.

So you've tried three times and you have a different result each time, but you've made no changes to the software you have? You have a hardware issue. Probably involved with the connector. Bend the Tactrix pins inward 1-2mm and try again.

what colour are the ecuflash icons on screen for read and write ?
if they are red and blue your talking to tactrix adapter if they are grey your not getting connection to tactrix or its not being recognised by ecuflash.

are their and led lit up on tactrix adapter ?

If the icons are rad and blue then its talking to tactrix

next look on the ecuflash log screen how far is it getting down the list below

Yeah the icons are lit red and blue and the log is all exactly like that. Imma double check the logs after i charge my laptop. Imma also try pushing the pins in a little its just a little frustrating that it worked two days ago and now nothing.
