Thanks!

I sent him an email and got a quick response today. $550.00 for the gears, solid pinion spacer kit, pinion seal, fluid and shipping/duty. 6.5 hrs to install, $86/hr rate. Sent him an email about the groupbuy rate. Wonder how much it will be.

In for groupbuy!

So roughly $1200 all together at pat cyr before groupbuy rate. I'm waiting for a quote from my mechanic, might be able to get a cheaper labor rate. Apparently he has a connection for final drives but not sure if they have 4.88 available.

Also, I forgot to mention that the tech I'm using, Brady Johnson @ Pure Auto. Perf., said that he likes the Weir gears because they come with a paint line on them already. Hope this helps you.

Thanks I appreciate it, it's much cheaper and better quality then everything else as all the fiddly bits are including, I still need to find an installer

BTW, I forgot to mention that he also includes a big long list of OEM carrier shims by size and part number so that the installer can get the shims more easily from an OEM source after he has determined what size(s?) is needed. I was going to go and buy all the shims and take them to the tech but Spence said not to do that because they're about $6 each. He's a big help to the customer and the tech.

Here are couple of pics of my diff with 4.556 final drive. I went with bigger, stronger inner and outer bearings (Supra MK3). This weekend I will try to make some time to put it in!

If someone made a business of shipping out pre-built pumpkins, they'd make a killing.

I've been thinking the same lately. Or one that took in pumpkins on a trade-in and used them to build stock.

That's what Spencer Fabrications does.
