You should have hauled ass in the back roads and should have waited 250 miles for the oil change. But it's okay. After I did my 1000 mile break-in. I was driving up mountains hills and back roads for 500 miles where I would take my revs to 7k to seat the rings at high speeds.

But seriously, like mentioned before I'd bet on an ECU reset.

To those who say one can't feel/hear the difference, although I don't recommend it for others, I do not use my dipstick to check my oil. I can feel/hear the change enough to annoy me by about a third of a quart below full.

If I feel it and the pan is still full, it's time to change the oil. Mobile-1 0W20 lasts about 3500 miles for me. I'm using Amsoil for the first time and I have to say I'm quite impressed.

Been on Eneos Sustina 0W-20 since 1500km then 0W-50 for the last two oil changes (every 5000km now car is around 26000km). Engine doesn't even burn one drop of oil ever.

But really, aliens. They are everywhere. Watch your back. Keep your guns close and don't forget you only have to outrun your friends.
Aliens you say? The truth is out there.

For oil I have been using the ELF synthetic from the dealer.

I did haul ass. I waited until 1k miles, then I put 170ish miles of very spirited driving in some curves and hills. I was shifting at about 6k+ and was getting it up to about 100 constantly.

It's only ever burned oil after a shit ton of canyoning. My one and only track day (bone stock, mind you) it sucked up 8 ounces. A fine little engine, really.
