Weird issue with my 13' Subaru BRZ

After adding an oil cooler here in China, there was a very weird issue with starting my car.

Issue:
I have to put my clutch pedal to the floor, hold "Stop Start" button about 30 seconds, then engines started.
Normally the car should start immediately when press the "Stop Start" button as all your cars, but now I should hold the button for 30 seconds every time like an idiot
Dose anybody know why this issue happened? I'd checked my ecu chip, the whole electronics system, the battery, the starter, etc, nothing wrong, all of them are OK. It kills me...everyday

HELLLLLLLP

does the engine crank while you're holding down the start button, or is there no reaction until 30 seconds later?

push your start button twice to turn the engine electronics on, wait a few seconds, then push in your clutch and push the start button again and see if it starts. maybe it might be a bad connection with your key fob or actual start button? what year is your car?

i tried that, not work. start button checked, no issues.
the key fob, the key fob, maybe it was out of battery? i bought this car 2 years ago and lost the backup key fob.
Is there any thread about how to change the key fob battery? Thanks!!

Not sure about replacing the battery. But you can just hold the key up against the start button next time you try to start it. That's the secondary method of starting the car when your battery dies.
