Still wonder if the manifold would have NA benefits with built heads and a 9k revving motor... Not too surprised it didn't have too many gains on a stock motor.
@NotEric6 do you guys have any plans to test it on a built NA motor? Or just wait until you develop the NA specific manifold?

That is a possibility we aren't able to test yet as I only felt safe revving my car to 8k. Yes, we of course will. We will test this on any engine.

We don't want to publish what we have tested yet until we get the full picture.

Well that's good to hear! Keep up the great work and try not to take all of our comments to the heart (unless they are positive )

Keep up the great work on this. I look forward to the day I can say shut up and take my money.

Didn't FullBlown do it?

Stock Exhaust Flow @ .500 lift = 170
Stock Intake Flow @ .500 lift = 280

I know they only shared a tiny bit of data mixed in with a sales pitch, and I know that stock lift is only ..... .433? Off the top of my head, so eh..

The intake manifold goes at the top, or the head, of the engine. Therefore, header.

Duh.

Respectfully disagree. You don't lose any money posting stock CFM. You just clamp a head to a flow bench and read the numbers at various lift. RnD was done by Toyota/Subaru. People make or lose their paychecks after the heads are no longer stock.

How much money is someone losing posting a baseline dyno run? None.

Thanks, got a link? I presume it was for their IM in which case I can search it myself. I must have missed the numbers as I tend to gloss over marketing talk.

@NotEric6 "The bell horns are adjustable giving the end user more options for tuning and making this a one stop manifold for Boosted and N/A applications." Reread your first post and then relocate this thread under FI.

Dude, what's your damage? Guy is trying to bring something new to market, has made no boasts about anything and you're all up his ass.

That first post wasn't even his, it was from FT-86 Factory.

Now you know who I was waiting on... I'd blame the whole wait game on him. Lets all hate on @nelsmar!

Realistically we wish Velox could have enough capital to have its own force induced project car but every bit of funds we do have go right back into developing the platform in other aspects. The result is R&D of certain parts (intake mani in a forced inducted application) takes significantly longer than anyone would like. I apologize for this but we're doing the best we can with what we have.

Thanks for the patience everyone. The one good thing is it has allowed me time to design another concept for an NA manifold. I made the mistake of putting a timeline on this design concept so my mouth is staying shut on this next design . But it is underway.

I always didn't like our exhaust ports. Explains a bit how over designed the exhaust is for the heads & hence no real gains from cat-backs.

The next step is to port some heads.
