Sick of all this rock on interstate highways

Basically, im sick of all this rocks flying around the interstate highway 80. I bought my BRZ (first brand new car) January 2015, and my bumper is basically full of rock chips, my windshield already has tiny chips that are somewhat noticeable. I pissed me off unfortunately i have to drive 60 miles round trip on route 80 east/west every morning. I know this rock chips and windshield chips is going to just get worse.

Anyways, im thinking on just waiting a few more years until the bumper is completely f**ckd and just repainted and install some sort of shield protector. As far as the windshield, i guess i have to replace it at some point if it gets very annoying.

Do you guys have any suggestions?

You can always do a vinyl wrap.

yeah a wrap was not in my budget when i bought the car, ideally i would have save to wrap the car before buying, but things happened very quickly.

Bite the bullet and get the bumper re sprayed and get the paint protection film. This would drive me nuts with a bunch of rock chips!

I've done a lot of looking into clear bras for my own car, since I too have a ton of rock chips. Some things I've learned:

1. Be VERY picky about which shop installs the bra. A lot of shops screw up the install, which causes the bra to turn yellow over time, or causes paint to come up with the clear bra when it is eventually removed. Do your homework, and don't DIY.

2. You'll want Xpel Ultimate. This seems to have the most positive reviews of any of the bra's I've seen. It is self-healing, will not yellow over time (if installed correctly), is almost completely invisible, and seems to age better than other brands.

also make sure you fill up the rock chips in your front windshield. if you don't fill them up, they are prone to cracking and splitting more later. most insurances will cover free rock chip repair rather than replacing your whole windshield
