How Cats Work Part 1
Hi Guys,
We just started a series of technical articles that explain how catalytic converters are made, how they work, why people steal them, and why you should probably be running them on your FR-S or BRZ. This is just part one, we'll have part two up in a few weeks. Check it out and let us know what you think or if you have any questions. Thanks! http://www.magnaflow.com/news/?p=680

@Magna_Flow maybe you can explain high flow cats. And if what I read is true about how high flow cats are not California legal, and how they are just 49 state legal and flow better because emissions regulations are relaxed outside of California.

Another good article would talk about the cost, complexity, and process of getting aftermarket catalysts exempted for use in California.

If it wasn't in the relatively immune tech section it would be by now!

They are just not legal in California. I've seen "49 state legal" like here on the bottom left. http://www.magnaflow.com/02converters.asp |
