GT4 is more beatable, but if RS drops in a couple of years with less weight higher redline I'd be bored. Seems like GT4 is to clearout parts bin before the 981 refresh, notice the rear lights are same as base and s models.

While I was using some degree of hyberbole, you didn't answer the question.

With a sub-$100k budget, how about something like a used 911 GT3 RS? The Metzger engines in those cars are supposedly bulletproof and as a whole, they're designed to be trackable. And with it being used, you won't feel as bad when it inevitably gets a bit scuffed at track days.
I have a bud who was also debating between a GT3 RS and C7 Z06 for a track car. Very jealous, they both seem like fun! Might want to look into the Z06's engine reliability a bit more though. I've heard of at least one blowing up, so might be something to keep your eye on.

If I had the funds for a dedicated track car...... It would either be an Ariel Atom 3.5R, BAC Mono or Radical. You might as well go all in as opposed to getting comprised street car that can be used on the track occasionally
That, or if your cup of tea involves two wheels... get a Triumph 675R

why are you looking for so expensive a track car?
http://www.motoiq.com/MagazineArticl...The-Track.aspx Or if you must, just rent a track car for track days. |

Z06's have a roll bar problem being fiberglass.
Want to build a kit car? I just sold my Minibusa. A kit I built made by Z-Cars in England. Mid engine, turbocharged Hayabusa GT-5 Mini Cooper. 6 speed sequential with full paddle shift. 242 hp at the wheels with 9 lbs of boost on pump gas. 1140 lbs with me in it. 0 to 60 in 2.6 and close to 2 "G"s of cornering force. And street leagle and very street able. |

Get a track car not a street car for track if you want to spend that kind of money.
If it were me, for a track car I'd go with either a D Sports Racer or C Sports Racer and have some fun... Here's a good site to look for track/race cars: http://www.race-cars.com/carsales/classes.htm
