Visconti said that the update hardware kit will be included in future kits so its no longer optional and the leaking hose issue no longer applies.

I'm curious how the auto blip downshift works. Does the car have sensors that can tell what gear you're going into?

I usually double clutch all my downshifts but every once in a while, while braking really hard, it would be nice to use the auto blip if it works as advertised.

Sorry for side tracking the thread with all the map switching talk...it really is cool to be able to switch on the fly!! I'm planning on a similar setup to Brandon's once I'm running boost

it sucks. it's not intelligent at all and could be downright dangerous in the wrong conditions. it applies a static amount of throttle blip no matter what whenever the conditions for it to engage are met. even if the conditions are met for half a second, you're still getting 100% of that specified static throttle blip. unintended acceleration is bad, m'k?

This is my exact thoughts and concerns. I still have the urge to try it out for some reason. I can almost guarantee that I will remove the feature after trying it out but curiosity has gotten the better of me.

I played with it when is was originally released and removed it after almost killing myself twice. When your not expecting a surge of power after you downshift and in traffic it is extremely freaky.

They still need to come up with a connector on the engine side for non US customers.

I'd like to revive this to see is anyone has anymore options. I know Delicious Tuning is close to finishing up their blutooth flex fuel kit, anyone else?

Moto-east has a flex fuel kit out with quite a few users, I've been using it for about 4 months so far and no issues at all.

Visconti doesn't really use a ECU harness, as it connects to the 2nd O2 sensor, it's the only connection needed. ECUtek removes the CE on this sensor.

The original version of his kit used the direct ecu harness - I believe he's since changed it over to the O2 sensor.
