Known Issues

· FA20CLUB.com
o Unknown

· Visconti
o Double sided tape is that mounts the ethanol sensor does not hold the sensor after warm temperatures.
o There are reports of the inner diameter of the supplied rubber hose going to the factory hard line being the incorrect diameter. This small difference is causing fuel leakage in some cases. There are two supplemental items that can be purchased to remedy these issues. $25 for a compression fitting to the hard line and 75$ for a replacement sensor that has mounting holes.

There aren't that many people here running the FA20club FF kit. Only three when Visconti's kit was released. Dunno how many there are now or how many there were local.

One more thing is what you need besides the kit. I know both need their respective tune but it seems like there was something else. I'll look into it later.

Should include price for the tune from each, if applicable.

I believe your part numbers are off, at least for Visconti's second round it looks like he's sending out GM 13577379, not 13577394. I have Visconti's first round kit, but opted on getting the sensor on my own since the pricing he had for it was not favorable.

We actually found a new source for the ECU harness this week. The price is now $90.00

I know FA20Club pricing is requiring an existing tune (N/A or boosted whatever) + the kit.

If you have a cable & License:
Vortech Tune: $300.00
Fa20club Flex Fuel: $650.00
FA20Club Harness: $90.00
Total: $1040.0

Starting from scratch:
License, Cable, Vortech combo: $900.00
FA20Club Flex Fuel: $650.00
FA20club Harness: $90.00
Total: $1640.00

Vortech pricing (seperate, or with cable & license)

Further complicating the pricing is that FA20Club will update your existing FA20Club tune (at least the Vortech pumpgas based on my inquiry) for free, whereas it appears that Visconti's tune depends on which tune of his you already own which varies the price from $150 to $700 on top of the kit.

I suppose the third option is to just get someone else to tune it, but for most people going with either of these FlexFuel kits, I think it's probably safe that they already use one or the other for tuning, so that should weigh into the equation.
