Can you please be more specific as to what activity or function you perform with this car that is not addressed by the available torque and power?

The basis of any improvement is a non-subjective baseline measurement. What numbers are you going to be using to evaluate the success of this project?

If on the other hand you are like me, and just like to hang out in the shop drinking beer, spending $$$ and fucking with stuff till you break it, then go for it and jam a turbo LS7 in the car. It is quite doable and nobody is going to stop you. There is a section of this board that is dedicated to such activity.
