Yea why on earth would they put that turbo motor there? That's a big tease. I'm assuming that it's a turbo motor since it has that intercooler hanging off it. WHY did they do that??
I would like some info on that if possible.

That is indeed a turbo FB motor.
However, probably for the WRX and Forester/Legacy turbos (maybe STI too). It obviously isn't for the BRZ, since the manifold is the wrong way around and the intercooler won't fit. The nutty thing is... Why is there no information about this!?!?!?! Its totally and completely a mystery right now, Subaru didn't announce it or anything! Its just randomly sitting at that autoshow. We need more PHOTOS!!! (especially of the plaque in front of it) |

^ if it is for the WRX then would the redline for the turbo engine be just as high as the BRZ?

Demands? It's not for the GT86/BRZ otherwise they would be advertising it more. Subaru had an engine display.
I saw it(as in your post) but I didn't have time to post until later. Sorry Kratos. |

I think it is the engine of the Subaru Impreza WRX STI S206. I was on display there. It is an only JDM version.
