all we know is its running rich suddenly on SC tune that worked previously. Stock tune no SC not rich. you have checked for leaks on input side of SC but what about on pressure side/ intercooler ect

time to send logs to your tuner
Have checked everywhere i could.

Logs were sent to tuner yesterday once i put the sc back into the loop and had ruled out the typical things.

thanks again,

Awesome thanks for info. From what i'm reading the computer box that sits on the passenger injector sheild is actually just for the di system?

My logs show the di system is kicking in at times, but the car is reading rich and basically killing fuel trims.

http://www.quirkparts.com/oe-subaru/...str=22635JB000 this place is local atleast.

hopefully don't have to get to doing that, but atleast its a new direction to look

have a techstream compatabile cable ordered from amazon, have never played with the software but it may give some more info, if not for $25 was worth having anyway.

From everything I've read in this thread, my guess would be fuel and electrical related.

I would start with the DI computer mounted to the side of the fuel injector cover on the RH side of the engine bay. You might also want to check all of the fuel injectors and their wiring under the covers. From there I would work backwards and look at things like the DI pump and the fuel pump.

if yes, if double check all the vacuum hoses, diverter valve, map sensor (that the second KW sensor you tried on is identical to the original one you used)

if not, you could try to take a stock ecutek rom and mod it to use PI only to see if it's DI system throwing you off (you did not do fueling mods - injectors and/or pump, right?)

sorry if some of that sounds stupid (eg map sensor is the same) - it's just that things can be overlooked.
How do i edit to remove the di?

Sorry, i'm essentially tuning retarded.

Any one more experienced think this might be direct injector seal related?

From what I remember reading, a DI seal issue would cause distinct popping noises on cold start

noticed that even at 14.6 afr the o2 sensor (s1 b1) is showing 2+ volts on my scan tool, same with these logs.

shouldn't an o2 sensor be reading .45v at 14.6 afr?

http://www.datazap.me/u/utekineir/o2...0&data=7-23-33

Edit::: Nvm. I was wrong. Oe front "Wideband" runs at a different voltage.

Did notice in you logs the injector pulse widths drop when the problem happens and the throttle stays constant. it possible its the DI computer as others have suggested which i believe is the one under the bonnett. hopefully you coulds swap it out to check, but check with tuner .

Dont swap you main ecu passenger side kick panel, with someone as i believe its a secutiry coded set with the dash/imobiliser/ecu swaping any of those three may cause issues due security and disable one or both cars.

This looks like a valid culprit.
