I have a camera in roughly the same spot as 7thgear, but done differrently. I took a piece of square aluminum tubing and attached it to both headrests with a couple of u-bolts. Camera bolts into the center. Whole thing cost me a little over $10 and it's solid as a rock. I'll have a video up shortly.

Aluminum bar is cut to 37". Not sure if it was necessary to mount to both posts on both headrests, but since it works I'm not going to mess with it!
